Submission

The MEi:CogSci Conference 2026 invites submissions from students of the Middle European Interdisciplinary Master's Programme in Cognitive Science (MEi:CogSci). We welcome contributions from all areas of cognitive science, including but not limited to: perception, cognition, language, neuroscience, artificial intelligence, and philosophy of mind.

First-year students present a poster; second-year students give a talk. All submissions undergo peer review by fellow MEi:CogSci students under faculty supervision. Accepted submissions are published in the official conference proceedings.

• Eligibility: Current MEi:CogSci students enrolled at a consortium university                                                       
• Attendance: Presenting authors are expected to attend the conference in person (June 19–21, 2026, Vienna)
• Proceedings: Accepted papers will be published in the official MEi:CogSci Conference proceedings
• Plagiarism: Submissions must be original work and must not have been published elsewhere

1. Register as an author in CMT by May 1, 2026
2. Submit your 1-page abstract as PDF by May 8, 2026
3. After the deadline, you will receive fellow students' abstracts to review
4. Submit your reviews by May 22, 2026
5. Receive reviews of your abstract on May 29, 2026
6. Revise and resubmit your final abstract by June 5, 2026
